Now, if only we could speed up progress on Europe-wide interconnection of grids and kick in the pants laggards like Spain, which is taxing solar power, so that it doesn’t compete with the established utilities. Spain has the 5th highest number of sunshine hours per year in Europe https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sunshine_duration

Unusually high winds allowed Denmark to meet all of its electricity needs – with plenty to spare for Germany, Norway and Sweden too
